Do you ever get that feelin down in your soul ;that the universe is trying to tell you something; trying to take control. Is your heart empty not knowing what to do; does your mind run circles around your pretty little head. Love was there but it just wasn't right you knew that from the start. Yet you gathered your roses and said "I do". What in the hell did I do. I can never forget that dreadful mistake as I became his lawful wife. One year and some tears, some cussing and fighting ; i realized it was finally through. I packed up my car and loaded the dogs; I be damned he gets to keep those. As I pull out the driveway I have to just say girl you'll live to fight another day. So do you answer the call of that lonesome dove calling out to you; does it reach into your soul and pull you inside out? There are plenty of fish in this big ole world , or so my granny would say. But right now its getting harder each and every day. To leave room in this ole heart of mine.I think about the lone dove calling away for the love that willnever fly its way; as it listens for the answer to all of it's prayers I sigh as I twist with the pain from within. I know how it feels ; you it's out there. It's the song on the tin roof as the rain falls down, or the sunset across the mountains so proud; is it the freedom we should treasuer or just give thanks for the happiness we found after profound mistakes.
